American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her first role was an actor in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role as reporter Willa McPherson on the series of FX Dirt. She also played a supporting part in FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. She was Kaylee who was a young Moira on the very first season of FX's American Horror Story. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She has voiced various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since her appearance in 2019, she has been starring as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until 10 years old when her mom and daughter moved to California. They moved around for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge became interested in photography, acting and singing at the age of 13. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
