Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist currently competing at flyweight in the UFC. She is the elder sister of her fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko, who is a Muay Thai kickboxer, began her professional fight career during her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina kept her winning streak going by taking home bronze and silver medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in the year 2011, and the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia launched her professional career back in 2003. Antonina has been awarded numerous titles including the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships, Lion Fight Lightweight Championships, and WMC as well as Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The victory was achieved by unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko made her first professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She took the win by second round TKO and also won her subsequent 2-fights at WXF: X-Impact World Championships 2003, accumulating a record of three-three. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on her kickboxing, and she came back in a fight against Anissa Haddaoui during Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa with a unanimous verdict and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. In 2018, she left the tournament and started competing in Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina defeated Nievera by her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was able to sign a UFC contract. Antonina was offered a UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with an unanimous decision. However, she then fell in her second fight due to the split decision. Antonina returned to the ring after losing and defeated Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts she lost to Ariane Lipski before falling to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
