Shevchenko was matched against Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina defeated Nievera by her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round by using knees on the body. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was able to sign a UFC contract. Antonina was offered a UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi with an unanimous decision. However, she then fell in her second fight due to the split decision. Antonina returned to the ring after losing and defeated Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission in the second round. The bout earned Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko was a 1-2 winner during her subsequent three bouts she lost to Ariane Lipski before falling to Katlyn Chookagian, and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos -Walker.
